Animes like Aishiteruze Baby, Clannad, Fruits Basket?

I like shoujo anime with deeper themes, but I don't like silly ones where it takes forever to build up to the first kiss and then everything's perfect/spends forever talking about the boy the girl loves and that's all it's about. (ie, Kimi ni Todoke or anything too overdone and sappy like that) So does anyone know animes that have a good helping of romance but have more than just the romance going on, like humor or slice of life or adventure? I just watched Aishiteruze Baby and loved it, as well as both seasons of Clannad, Fruits Basket, Shugo Chara, Child's Toy. and Skip Beat.
