Need help deciding for tat? plz?

so im getting my first tattoo, and i havent quite decided what i wanted but for sure including my dads b-day since its a memorial. so i was thinking his b-day in roman numerals ..but it might be too long since i want it on my foot. VIII.XX.MCMLV<3... iduno what do you guys think?
