Is it ok to have a dead lady?

Alright, so me and my girlfriend got a phone system from this old lady who died. Her kids gave away all her stuff and we got a bunch of it including the phone. Anyway, the phone's message machine has this dead woman's voice saying the message. Me and my GF think it's wonderfully morbid and we thought we'd keep it as our voice message. But I've been told that it's not so wonderful, opinions?
