How do i Deal with this B****?

I know this one friend who i grew up with, but our friendship was like on and off. She is jealous and likes to hurt me by doing/saying things behind my back. She insults me in front of some friends and has a bad temper. Not many people get along with her anyway. I haven't spoken to her in years and since our families are close Im gonna have to see her during the holidays. I don't want to rekindle a friendship with her (although she seems like she does n told my aunt). I can't stand her attitude. Should I just be a b*tch back to her?
